Job Summary

Under general supervision and direction of the Supervisor of IFS Operations & Data, this person will be responsible for daily operational tasks as it relates to held-away retirement plan and institutional business. Operational tasks range from data reconciliation to assisting Advisors with operational inquiries. Individual should have a broad understanding of the different areas of investment advisory relationships and broker-dealer services. Contact with internal and external parties, including Financial Advisors, will be required. Leads defined work or projects of moderate scope and complexity. Resolves or recommends solutions to complex problems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to Advisor inquiries and questions through the group mailbox
  • Assist team with Fiduciary Program plan reporting used for Client deliverables
  • Review of Advisory agreements and required Plan documents to ensure all pertinent information is accurate and accounted for regarding Raymond James Fiduciary programs.
  • Work with recordkeepers on initiating/validating required fund changes with regard to Fiduciary Program.
  • Assist with Financial Advisor inquiries regarding product offerings.
  • Assist Team and Financial Advisors with training/onboarding to Firms various third-party platforms relating to held-away retirement business.
  • Assist internal service team with Firms data aggregator tool as it relates to missing Plan level data needed from third party record-keepers
  • Partner with Billing department to reconcile issues
  • Perform various tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of:

Must Haves-Hard Skills:

  • At least 2 years of recent data entry, auditing, or document review experience
  • At least 2 years%26rsquo experience within the financial services or retirement planning industry
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Excel
  • Basic skills with SQL query
  • Experience with Tabular a plus
  • Strong data entry skills while maintaining high accuracy - a pre-screening data entry test is not required but it is encouraged
  • Understanding of investments (i.e. mutual funds, stable value)

Must Haves-Soft Skills

  • Very high attention to detail
  • Professional written and oral communication skills

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

Bachelor%26rsquos degree (B.A.) in a related field withtwo (2) years of experience in the financial services industry.
