Department Overview
Raymond James Investment Management (%26ldquo;RJIM%26rdquo;) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial. ETF Product Management is part of RJIMs Product Management and Marketing team.
Job Summary
The summer associate will work closely with the Head of ETFs, providing market research and analysis as well as operational support. The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity and is excited to work in a collegial environment. This role calls for someone interested in understanding the unique characteristics of the rapidly growing and dynamic ETF market.
The summer associate position is a temporary role.
Start Date: Monday, June 2, 2025
End Date: Friday, August 8, 2025
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring and providing analysis on the ETF market, inclusive of creating competitor and fund profiles to inform sales, marketing and management activities (e.g. ETF product roadmap development).
- Supporting operational and trading related activities for RJIMs ETF business, inclusive of reporting and direct engagement with internal/external trading teams.
- Shadowing the Head of ETFs and providing support for ad-hoc projects and activities.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of %26ndash
- The benefits of Exchange Traded Funds (%26ldquoETFs%26rdquo) and the competitive landscape, preferred
- Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment.
Skill in %26ndash
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Morningstar and/or FactSet is a significant positive.
Ability to %26ndash
- Self-direct research and internal projects.
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable in a less structured environment.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor%26rsquos or master%26rsquos degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
