Department Overview


Reportfolio bond accounting provides monthly reports to Fixed Income institutions. We provide clients and internal departments with cost basis, gain/loss, pricing, and performance reporting.



Seasonal Analyst Job Summary


Deliver superior client service through accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. Enter data, review daily reports, and research any discrepancies. This involves extensive interaction with fellow workers, other departments, and branch associates.



Under general supervision, the seasonal associate uses knowledge and skills obtained through formal education and/or experience to work on specific projects within an assigned functional area. The seasonal associate follows established procedures to perform tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform other work with substantial variety and varied complexity. Some judgment is required to adapt procedures, processes, and techniques to apply to more complex assignments. Routine contact with internal and external customers may be required to exchange basic information.



This is a temporary role.



Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week for a limited time, determined by department need.


Start Date: June 2, 2025


End Date: August 8, 2025




Duties and Responsibilities


  • Inputs and maintains data on a Portfolio Management system and Brokerage Accounting system.

  • Monitors daily reports and resolves discrepancies.

  • Prepares and presents periodic reports to demonstrate comprehension of departmental functions and to offer observation and recommendations with respect to those functions.

  • Assists in coordinating workflow of all functional areas within the department.

  • Assists with creating and maintaining thorough job procedures.

  • Specified projects and varied assignments.

  • Works independently on assigned projects and tasks, meeting all delivery deadlines.

  • Operates standard office equipment and uses required software applications.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


Knowledge of


  • Advanced accounting, logic, and analytical skills to understand how Raymond James brokerage, cost basis and performance systems operate.

  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.

  • Financial markets and products


  • Financial service industry and specific knowledge of the functions and interrelations of the departments within Raymond James Financial

  • Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment.

  • Basic concepts, principles, and practices of an assigned business unit.



Skill in


  • Learning and applying new information, skills, and processes quickly and providing comprehensive and objective analysis.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements


  • Must be currently pursing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related major with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
