As an Accounts Payable Lead at the Corporate Enterprise Services Center (CES), you may provide coaching and assistance to entry level personnel.
You will review documentation received by the AP team to ensure timely payments, actions or other means of completing requests within expected timelines. You will work on process improvement projects involving identifying potential process improvement, submitting tickets and testing changes once designed. You will also serve as backup and/or trainer on various AP roles.
Responsibilities:Responsible for all training in the department.
Utilize Costpoint, P2P, Cognos, Workday, Excel, Corporate Utilities daily.
Audit and approve AP vouchers daily.
Post cash daily.
Post travel and AP payments for ACH/Check/Wire/EFT reimbursements.
Prepare disbursement reports as needed.
Test systems for implemented enhancements and upgrades.
Learn new programs that can improve AP processes.
Assist department leads with AP/Travel reclasses and retros.
Process 1099 forms for suppliers and file applicable forms per state and federal requirements
Reconcile AP Suspense and aging reports.
Facilitate interactions between CACI and suppliers through record management in our Procure-to-Pay system.
Work with finance team daily to ensure smooth payment process.
Work with department treasurer to ensure payments processed.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners relating to supplier invoices and payments and employee travel related questions.
You will provide support for internal and external auditors.
You will serve as backup to the Travel Lead when needed.
Support team members to assist with individual workloads.
Other duties as assigned by Accounts Payable Manager.
University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 5+ years of related work experience.
5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe.
Desired:
Experience with CostPoint 8.1, Procure to Pay (P2P), COGNOS, ServiceNow, Workday.
Government accounting experience.
Previous 1099 Processing experience.
Previous supervisor experience is a plus.
Willingness to learn new technology to improve reporting functionality and process management in the AP and Travel departments.
Perform other duties with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
