About this Role

Join Quanta South Region a leader in the energy infrastructure industry, as an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this critical role, you will manage financial transactions and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a key role in driving efficiency and contributing to the financial health of the company. What You'll Do

  • Sort and distribute invoices to the appropriate department heads, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
  • Verify that invoices are properly approved, and job coded, ensuring accuracy in every detail.
  • Assign corresponding GL codes to invoices and efficiently enter them into the system.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Proactively reach out to vendors to resolve discrepancies or obtain missing invoices.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding payment status or other AP-related matters, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Familiarize yourself with vendors requiring special attention, such as those with weekly payments or quick turnaround needs.

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration across departments.
