We're searching for an Aerospace Engineering intern to join our team in Sterling, VA for Summer 2025! The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks. You will be expected to work 100% on-site. Responsibilities:

Join our team as we drive all-source collection, apply research, and deliver highly technical, all-source finished intelligence on emerging and disruptive technologies helping our customers to assess current threats and forecast future threats on some of the nationals most challenging missions. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working in a team environment, the single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience.

 

  • Use design software to prepare plans, drawings and analytical models
  • Evaluate designs for feasibility
  • Analyze critical elements or performance of the design using analytic tools, model scale and full scale testing, or prototyping as appropriate
  • Prepare reports of results and conclusions
  • Recommend and implement changes to designs based on conclusions

     

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related discipline 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ability to work independently 
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills 

Desired:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, but not required 
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience
