Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

【Job function】

To join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading WoS (Windows on Snapdragon) compute device makers from design & develop to commercially launching excitement or new Qualcomm compute SoC products.

Audio software application engineering role requires audio system architecture expertise working in Audio Software DSP technologies, Windows Audio S/W Architecture to join the Customer Engineering team.

This role will involve supporting OEMs/Tier-1/Tier-2s with Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Windows audio system architecture feature specific customizations from proof of concept to final product commercial launches. The individual will work with global teams of dedicated experts to develop next generation Compute products.

【Responsibilities in this role shall include the following】

•       Customize Windows ARM-based audio software drivers for OEM

•       Co-work with cross functional teams in Qualcomm to speed up the solutions to customer problems

•       Require the ability to understand and explain technical information in a concise manner with strong communication skills between customers and developers

•       Provide the Audio performance measurement, analysis, and optimization

•       Create application notes, technical memo, and provide training to customers

•       Support Audio/Voice system’s algorithm tuning and debugging

•       Provide audio tuning support to help customers pass Teams, Zoom, Cortana, and Alexa certification

【Minimum Qualifications】

•       Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

•       3+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience

•       3+ years’ experience with Programming Language such as C, C++

•       3+ years’ experience with embedded system

【Preferred Qualifications】

•       Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field

•      Working experience on any DSP (porting and optimization of different algorithms along with real time debugging)

•      Hands-on Experience in using HEAD Acoustic ACQUA System, HATs

•      Hands on experience in SW/tuning to Audio pre/post-processing algorithms for subjective quality enhancement (ECNR, DRC, AGC/ limiter, speech recognition, etc.)

•      Rich experience in Teams certification tuning

•      Rich experience in Cortana or Alexa certification tuning

•      Rich experience in Windows audio and ACPI is a plus

•      Natural self-starter, self-motivated, independent, and resourceful problem solver.

•      Outstanding communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate and succinct manner
