Job Description:

Your way to impact

As a Technical engineer in the Procure to Pay area, you will be at the forefront of leading Ariba and Concur Technical engineering projects globally. You will be responsible for defining the system requirements, creation of test plans, executing System Integration Testing, UAT coordination and cut over plan creations. To achieve this, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procure to pay teams to implement solutions that meet the evolving needs of our partners and customers. Your solutions will be made available to hundreds of thousands of daily PayPal users and will directly impact the company’s P&L. 

Your day to day

In your day-to-day role you will:

  • Define and deliver business payments solutions for PayPal Procure to Pay business teams, inclusive of Invoicing, payment requests and Accounts Payables.  
  • Implement Concur and Ariba technology optimizations, deploy Best Practices to support the evolving business needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and use this information to inform product strategy and decision-making.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders and partners in the company to ensure the commercial success of the product 
  • Define product level OKRs and set KPIs to measure the progress and success 
  • Help coordinate different aspects of the wider team with the local engineering team  

What do you need to bring-

  • Overall 8+ years industrial experience with bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, marketing, business administration).  
  • 6+ years’ experience in Ariba Purchasing, Invoicing with demonstrable achievements in leading high-profile products and deploying them to market.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Concur Expense and Travel configurations with demonstrable achievements in leading high-profile products and deploying them to market. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
