Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

On this role, you will work closely with asset and wealth management leaders in the region to study, build out and develop the new entity in China; as a frontier leader in the business in China, take responsibility to work with local authorities, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure a sustainable growth of the business; communicate with the management team in the region about relevant rules in China, potential clientele and product, market opportunities, and so on.

To be qualified, you will meet the below requirements

  • Fund practitioner qualification license
  • Have the appropriate managerial competence for the proposed position and the relevant work experience which meets AMAC requirement
  • At least five years' relevant work experience in securities, funds, futures investment management, having served as portfolio manager or SMP at a financial institution, e.g. commercial bank, securities company, fund management company, etc.; or private fund manager that operated normally, legally and stably with no record of major violation of laws and regulations during his/her tenure; and
  • Has investment management track record of at least 2 two consecutive years in the past 10 ten years with management scale of no less than RMB 20 million for a single product or account.

     

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and above
  • Min 5 years of prior work experience in a relevant field
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
  • Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders 
  • Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
  • Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
