The Asset Manager is responsible for the strategic management and optimization of the FAA FENS inventory. This role focuses on maximizing operational efficiency, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining regulatory compliance.  The Asset Manager will develop and implement asset management strategies, monitor asset performance, and collaborate with key stakeholders to support the FAA FENS logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Optimization: Manage the efficient utilization and maintenance of logistics assets, including spares, to support operational requirements and minimize downtime.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement asset management strategies to align with company logistics goals, considering OEM recommendations and supply chain dynamics.

  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess asset performance through data analysis, reporting, and KPIs to ensure compliance with performance specifications and identify areas for improvement.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics assets comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, operations, and maintenance teams to coordinate asset-related activities, ensuring timely availability and proper storage of spares.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on asset utilization, performance metrics, and cost analyses for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of logistics assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring optimal return on investment and adherence to sparing processes.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or asset management.

  • Experience in managing complex projects.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Government clearance.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional Certification

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in asset management software.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in logistics.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
