Location: AMP – Field (Midland)
Amount of Travel Required: >70%
Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday) overtime as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Asset Mobility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the safe and efficient transport of turbine engines (assets or packages) between site locations. This role ensures that all logistical aspects of the relocation process are meticulously planned and executed, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the timely delivery of assets. The Asset Mobility Coordinator works closely with site teams, transportation providers, and engineering personnel to manage the entire process, from initial planning through final deployment, while adhering to safety regulations, operational standards, and client
requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as
defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word 'may.')

  • Develops and executes detailed logistical plans for the safe and efficient transport of turbine power, reciprocating power, and hybridization units between site locations.
  • Coordinates with site teams, transportation providers, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless asset relocation.
  • Oversees the preparation and inspection of equipment before transportation, ensuring all units are ready for safe movement.
  • Ensures that all necessary documentation, permits, and safety checks are completed before transport.
  • Monitors and manages the transport process, ensuring that all operations comply with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinates the mobilization and demobilization of assets, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Enforces strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures during the loading, transport, and unloading of assets.
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to ensure safe handling of all equipment.
  • Maintains clear and continuous communication with site teams, transportation providers, and other stakeholders throughout the relocation process.
  • Provides regular status updates to management and relevant parties, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Addresses and resolves any logistical or operational issues that arise during the transport process, minimizing delays and ensuring the safe delivery of assets.
  • Works closely with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot any technical issues related to the transport of specialized equipment.
  • Manages transportation budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or efficiency.
  • Reviews and approves transportation invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed terms.
  • Analyzes transport operations and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize the deployment of assets across multiple locations.
  • Implements best practices for the movement and storage of diverse power generation units, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Evaluates and selects transportation providers and third-party logistics partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective transport solutions.
  • Maintains accurate records of all asset movements, including transportation schedules, maintenance logs, and safety inspections.
  • Ensures that all documentation is properly filed and accessible for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure successful operations and business continuity. 

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment
  • aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Valid U.S Driver’s License
  • Ability to Travel
  • Daily in-person, predictable attendance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of previous experience in Power Generation.
  • Knowledge of Power Generation Equipment Operations.
  • Previous supervisory experience.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to attend, participate, and successfully complete the scheduled New Hire Safety training,
  • including but not limited to H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training.
  • Attends and successfully completes annual safety and operations recertification training.
  • Able to communicate in a technical manner around clients.
  • Ability to successfully work within a team environment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable and compliant with digital platforms including Active Learner, Paycom, KPA,
  • and other company-mandated systems. For new hires, ability to quickly learn and navigate
  • company platforms.
  • Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Lighting: Variable lighting conditions may require artificial lighting in certain areas.
Ventilation: Natural ventilation with potential exposure to open-air environments.
Noise Level: Moderate to high noise levels due to machinery and power generation activities.
Social Interaction: Interaction with site personnel, adherence to safety protocols is crucial.

adhere to deadlines is essential for successful task completion.

Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
