Are you a quick-thinking self-starter with a passion for the financial markets, the ability to perform quantitative research, and a desire to work closely with clients?  We are seeking an Associate to join the Strategic and Quantitative Asset Allocation team within the Investment Strategy Group who can contribute to the design and customization of investment strategies and analytics.

Investment Strategy Group (ISG)

The Investment Strategy Group works with advisors and clients to help create an exceptional overall investment experience by ensuring that every client receives world-class investment advice that can help generate superior and consistent returns.  The role of an ISG member requires a broad set of qualities, including a passion for investing, client servicing, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

The Strategic and Quantitative Asset Allocation team in ISG is seeking an Associate to work closely with Private Wealth Advisors to construct customized asset allocation solutions for PWM’s high-net-worth and institutional clientele. This is a dynamic role that requires patience, creativity, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, as well as inter-personal and problem-solving skills.

  • Initiate and assist with investment research efforts

  SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in a quantitative field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in one or more programming languages
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of global asset classes and investment instruments   
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion to engage with clients
  • Attention to detail, patience, and the ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Collaborative and teamwork oriented
  • Independent, logical, and critical thinking, with the willingness to constantly think outside of the box
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses (may be obtained within the first 3 months if needed)

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
