Asset & Wealth Management - Asset Management Operations is responsible for front-to-back operational support to the Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Merchant Bank businesses in service, delivery, and processing functions across the trade, client, and product lifecycle.

Within Shareholder Services, the Liquidity Platform Services team is responsible for overseeing implementation of key partner systems, Client solutions, including system integrations, leading large projects, including certain complex client onboardings, client reporting, and ensuring the continued operation of partnership and client solutions, including identification of system improvements and process enhancements, defining business requirements, and execution and communication with technology, clients, sales and other internal teams.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

As a member of the Liquidity Platform Services Team, you will be responsible for a wide range of client consultation to identify appropriate solutions, project management functions, including developing implementation project roadmaps, defining business requirements and communicating key project status and successful integrations with key stakeholders. 

Functional Responsibilities include: 

  • Create client implementation project plan, share with key stakeholders and task owners and manage project to keep on track. 
  • Lead business implementation of partnership solutions
  • Perform testing with external and internal technology partners and clients
  • Escalate any issues that arise, including the impact and resolution to management
  • Recommend and drive process improvements to increase system robustness and mitigate risk of disruptions in client solutions and operational workflows
  • Craft status updates, presentations and frame decision points to resonate with a variety of audiences, including clients, senior management, peers and sales associates

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Skills: 

  • 1+  years of business experience with at least one year in the financial services industry, preferably within mutual fund operations, Fintech or service
  • Excellent technical skills (PowerPoint, Excel) required
  • Experience interacting externally, with clients and technology teams from a business perspective
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi task while working under pressure
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; detail-oriented 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of file layouts preferred
  • Quick learner who excels with hands-on responsibilities
  • Thinks critically and not afraid to challenge the status quo 
  • Resourceful individual with strong intellectual curiosity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong relationship building skills with a high energy level and resilient temperament
