YOUR IMPACT

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping re-invent how wealth management services are distributed and consumed. You will join a team of creative and driven product managers to help build digital solutions to empower the client and advisor relationship. You are passionate about intuitive and user centric designed product experiences, and enhancing the client and advisor experience. You are comfortable writing specs, managing project execution, performing user testing, and being laser focused on metrics for the features you bring to market.

Private Wealth Management (PWM)

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the PWM business goals, processes and players, and collaborate closely with them to drive product requirements and success
  • Support and develop product strategy with our team and partners
  • Create materials for senior audiences, and keep track of progress across program milestones 
  • Partner with colleagues in engineering, design, operations, program management, and sales to allow for seamless execution
  • Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements across our product verticals
  • Monitor competitive best practices and analyze end-user feedback – identifying and developing solutions when necessary
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and build strong relationships with them
  • Apply your problem-solving skills to create a plan to solve gaps and shape the future of how PWM services its clients

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the Financial Services sector, ideally with wealth management experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead meetings, adjust content according to the respective audience, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment 
  • Strong PowerPoint skills preferred
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail; strong logical thinker
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure deadlines are met on time with a high degree of quality
  • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes
  • Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
