Job Summary and Responsibilities
Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Sustainable Investing Platform is the central provider of sustainability-related services for Public Investing, focusing on both investment research and regulatory and reporting activities. Together with the Public Investing teams, we seek to help clients achieve their financial goals while at the same time fulfilling their sustainability objectives.
Our team develops and creates the toolkits and frameworks that enable our investors to consider decision-useful sustainability information in their investment process, with the ultimate goal of enhancing risk-adjusted returns. We are specifically focused on finding a data driven angle to answer investment research questions related to sustainability. Our team is also staying on top of regulatory and policy developments around sustainability and partnering with the wider organization to deliver on our reporting obligations. Finally, we partner closely with our commercial teams to help deliver an excellent client experience through the development of industry leading sustainable investment solutions.
Our team operates in a fast-paced environment and welcomes individuals with both strong quantitative and communication skills while demonstrating an interest in sustainable investing. Team members ideally have a quantitative orientation with an aptitude for numbers and some familiarity with Python, while at the same time possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. An interest in sustainable investing is desired.
