The Wealth Investment Solutions (WIS) team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management manages over $375bn in assets across 80,000+ customized portfolios for individual as well as institutional investors across the wealth spectrum. WIS designs and manages personalized investment solutions for individual investment objectives, including tax-managed, factor-based and value aligned strategies across the Equity and Fixed Income asset classes.
About the role
The goal of the WIS business is to become the essential solutions provider and partner of choice to wealth advisors across the industry by developing investment products that solve for client needs and help scale the practices of advisors. Areas of focus include tax-aware and risk-managed diversification strategies for concentrated holdings, derivative strategies for risk management and income, tax-aware overlays on active management and total portfolio solutions. As a focal point for one of the division’s key priority initiatives, the team operates in an entrepreneurial environment but with the resources of a large organization.
As an investment product manager within the WIS business you will be responsible for building new investment strategies as well as refining existing strategies to solve for the evolving needs of individual investors and advisors across wealth segments. As a product manager your role will be to leverage your knowledge of wealth management, financial products, and exceptional product management skills to rapidly develop, launch and refine investment solutions delivered at scale.
WIS product managers collaborate across multiple teams and work closely with quantitative researchers, portfolio managers, client portfolio managers, engineers, UX designers, salespeople, digital product managers, operations, controllers, and compliance to deliver new investment strategies to the market.

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.Benefits
