JOB DUTIES:

  • Produce and update marketing and other client materials, product profiles, pitch books, performance analyses, update call and annual meeting materials, and other ad hoc client portfolio updates related to XIG private equity strategies [15% of time spent]
  • Work with senior team members in managing client deliverables and communications, as well as new business development activities such as completion of requests for information (RFIs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) during fundraising [10% of time spent]
  • Client management including addressing investment inquiries, relaying information on notable external manager updates and portfolio companies, as well as preparation for ongoing client discussions [10% of time spent]
  • Effectively articulate the role of private equity strategies within a client’s portfolio and explain to internal and external stakeholders the investment strategy [10% of time spent]
  • Produce scenario analyses and build investment pacing proposals for customized portfolios with exposure across a broad range of private market strategies [10% of time spent]
  • Manage data room access and content for fundraises, including case studies, sample client reporting and other documents [10% of time spent]
  • Answer questions from sales teams across all channels (private wealth, institutional, third-party distribution) related to XIG private equity funds [10% of time spent]
  • Coordinate closely with investment team and other internal stakeholders such as legal, risk management, operations, compliance, controllers and tax in order to respond to requests from clients, sales teams and senior management [5% of time spent]
  • Evaluate investment performance, portfolio exposures, concentrations, and manager developments for customized private equity portfolios [10% of time spent]
  • Overall serve as product manager and key point person to internal and external stakeholders on private equity products [10% of time spent]

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent)
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63

Prior experience must include two (2) years in the following:

  • Private markets and investor relations
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high levels of accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word and adaptability to learn other software products
  • Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to take on more responsibility over time
