Position Specific Description

The Associate Sales Rep position is an inside sales role responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. A successful sales rep will understand the customer needs and requirements and be able to lead the customer from initial introduction to implementation of a project. Job Overview

This job is responsible for sales of turnkey end use facility infrastructure upgrades to private sector commercial and industrial clients throughout Florida. The primary focus will be on lighting upgrades, but additional equipment could include HVAC, building control systems, backup power systems, power quality protection devices. Employees in this role will establish business contacts to successfully develop sales territory.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•   Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices, and new products

•   Keeps records and prepares reports on sales activities

•   Meets established sales quota

•   Monitors competitive activity and trends within the territory

•   Determines priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and sales maintenance

•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned
