Position Specific Description
• Performs and documents laboratory analyses in a safe and timely manner in accordance with standard operating procedures based on EPA, ASTM, and Standard Methods.
• Generate reports of analyses through use of the laboratory information management system.
• Maintain instruments for reliable operation.
• Properly manage waste generation.
• Availability to take after-hours work as needed.
• Job may include other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Under direct supervision:
• Generates reports of analyses and maintains computer database
• Maintains proper sample integrity, preservation, and logs
• Manages waste generation properly
• Maintains equipment under operating and reliable conditions
• Leads, trains, and coaches equipment maintenance requirements for the Lab
• Performs quality assurance reviews of other’s laboratory analyses
• Develops laboratory procedures
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
