Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a BI Developer (Qlik) to support an Air Force program at Andrews AFB, MD. The team is seeking a business intelligence and data visualization professional to support the Data Management Team for the USAF Basing and Logistics Analytics Data Environment. Your data visualization and development skills are needed!

Clearance: Secret clearance required 

Location: Andrews AFB, MD

Responsibilities of the BI Developer:

•      Design and implement reports, scorecards and dashboards using visualization tools (preferably QLIK)

•      Experience gathering, analyzing and translating requirements into functional specifications, prototypes, and working capabilities

•      Requires strong organizational skills and action-oriented personality; experience leading tasks and tracking actions across multiple organizations

•      Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities backed by solid writing and highly effective communication skills; must collaborate constructively and effectively with project end-users, customers, advocates, and stakeholders

•      Design and implement reports, scorecards and dashboards using Tableau, Lumira, PowerBI

Qualifications of the BI Developer:

• Secret clearance required
• B.S. and 5+ years of experience with business analytics/intelligence

•        Experience Developing/Creating Dashboards, Reports and Visualizations on a Business Intelligence/Data Analytics Platforms

•       Experience creating reports and visualizations, building dashboards, query creation/configuration, etc.; Does not need to be an expert.

•       Qlik preferred but not required BUT must be willing to take courses/get training on Qlik.

•       Can consider people with experience using comparable tools including but not limited to:

                 i.      ADVANA, MS PowerBI, Lumira, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, MicroStrategy, IBM Cognos, Databricks, Scala, R, SAS, Python, etc.

•       May be able to take someone who has some minor report creation experience with one of the BI tools that has the ability to learn the development skillset related to creation of new visualizations, dashboards, etc..

•        Experience gathering/analyzing requirements and translating them into detailed functional specifications.

•       Strong organizational, communication and analytical problem-solving skills

•       Experience working in a DoD environment (AF preferred)

•       Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders

 Compensation of the BI Developer:

•      Total compensation based on experience level – $100,000-$130,000+
