What you’ll be doing...

The Business Finance Operations (BFO) team is a wireless operations group responsible for ensuring that business channel activities adhere to Verizon’s standards and guidelines. The team audits business channel activities and transactions, creates and maintains wireless profiles in the Enterprise Customer Profile Database (ECPD), oversees promotional offers and discounts, applies and maintains wireless tax-exempt status, and manages business channel other charges and credits (OCCs). The BFO works closely with sales, service, and operations channels to support Verizon’s business customers. We also partner with Legal, Contract Management, Compliance, Risk Management, and Fraud teams to define, measure, and mitigate risk and to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

As a part of this team, you’ll play a pivotal role in the BFO mission, working towards delivering and supporting innovative solutions that open up a world of possibilities for our customers and our internal teams.

  • Working collaboratively with BFO user groups to evaluate technology and system needs focused on improving organizational efficiency, onboarding and service delivery flow through technology.

  • Representing BFO on project teams that impact BFO's digital strategy, including RPA.

  • Managing feedback for supported systems and tools, conducting quarterly roundtable meetings to identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation as needed.

  • Preparing Jira user stories, business cases, and other documentation as required for system enhancements.

  • Participating in ad-hoc projects as required to represent BFO’s strategic objectives in alignment with technology and innovation goals.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with business owners for key systems to ensure representation in enterprise releases, enhancements, and UI changes.

  • Partner with the BFO Digital Lead, GTS, customer-facing teams, and external partners to develop, and implement automated solutions and drive digital adoption.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Two or more years of project management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development, tracking, and troubleshooting of digital solutions.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) or Google G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Masters degree.

  • Experience with Verizon systems (ECPD, ACSS, WFM, My Business, JIRA).

  • Experience with Robotics Process Automation (RPA), exposure to UI Path specifically.

  • Experience in customer support, sales, or operations focused on business customers.

  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting data and findings to a broad audience including customer-facing employees and managers.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
