Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Business Financial Analyst / Audit Readiness Analyst to support an Army program on-site in D.C. / Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial management, audit readiness, and data analytics within a federal or DOD landscape. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities for the Business Financial Analyst / Audit Readiness Analyst include:

• Enhance financial reporting and process automation using Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Identify improvement areas in existing systems and workflows, ensuring alignment with business and compliance objectives.
• Analyze financial data for decision-making, support risk assessments, and recommend mitigation strategies.

•       Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather and document business and financial requirements.

o  Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing financial and operational systems to define functional and non-functional requirements.

Qualifications for the Business Financial Analyst / Audit Readiness Analyst include:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with financial management, audit readiness, or DoD financial reporting is strongly preferred. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and robotic process automation (RPA) tools preferred. 
• Familiarity with DoD financial management, budget execution, and audit compliance tracking is a plus. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and business requirements into technical solutions. 

•       Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Secret Clearance.

Compensation for the Business Financial Analyst / Audit Readiness Analyst includes:

•       Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 *depending on experience*
