PayPal, Inc. seeks Business Operations Analyst 4 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Support the development of PayPal's strategy on high visibility initiatives, and long-term strategic priorities in key ecosystem areas. Develop recommendations and prepare written and oral presentations to senior management. Analyze data from various sources to compile a comprehensive picture of the overall business operational performance. Produce periodic reports on a wide range of strategic and tactical analysis. Support Workforce Planning and hiring forecast related activities, including cross collaboration with multiple teams on strategic alignment and approvals. Own Position Management in Workday and other workforce management tools, including tracking and enabling the stakeholders with regular status and progress updates. Partner with Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, and the Business leads to plan, forecast, and track hiring and attrition. Balance urgent and effective action, possess a commitment to excellence, and take initiative to resolve problems, holding internal stakeholders accountable where appropriate. Coordinate, support, and provide guidance on initiatives to cross-functional PayPal stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted - work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

Advanced Excel and presentation-building skills (egs. PowerPoint) required /Pitch deck: Building recurring and ad hoc reporting for leadership and clients (9 months). Power BI: Experience utilizing visualization tools and dashboards to analyze data (9 months). Tableau: Experience in generating insights from large data sets and telling a story (9 months). Target Tracking and Forecasting: Possess a high level of numeracy and data management capabilities to analyze variances (18 months). Managing complex cross-functional initiatives: Liaise between various business departments and groups to identify and communicate with key stakeholders (9 months). Ability to lead and run effective processes and lead weekly and quarterly reviews: Drive the preparation of weekly reviews/materials to assess performance of business (18 months). Process Improvement: Assess current business processes and propose/implement solutions to optimize workflows and increase efficiency (18 months). Market Strategy: Demonstrate success encompassing consumer/business intelligence, product knowledge (12 months).

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $140,000-204,600 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
