What you’ll be doing...

The Managed Network Services (MNS) Center of Excellence (CoE) is a strategic organization focused on driving innovation, efficiency and growth within Verizon’s MNS portfolio. The CoE is responsible for enabling the core business, evangelizing value propositions, and ensuring seamless execution of technical and operational initiatives as we Go To Market (GTM) with MNS products and services. In 2025 the CoE will be instrumental in driving in-year MNS revenue growth to a target of $389M  through MNS Future Mode of Operations (FMO) GTM actions. 

The CoE Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving key initiatives that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and growth of Verizon’s MNS portfolio. This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and operational execution to ensure the successful implementation of MNS programs through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and program governance. The Program Manager will work closely with leadership, technical teams, marketing, sales operations, and customer success to optimize program performance, improve customer experience, and align initiatives with Verizon’s broader business goals.

You will be responsible for the following but not limited to: 

Program Development & Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of key MNS CoE initiatives.

  • Align program strategies with organizational goals and financial plans.

  • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and outcomes.

  • Assist and/or own the development of customer specific migration plans.

PMO Support

  • Develop and deliver timely and relevant updates for various governance meetings to include FMO Council, CEO Updates and SteerCo

  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate Go To Market Meetings (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly,)

  • Implement and maintain Artifacts and Version control of project documents.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to generate insights for strategic decisions.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report outcomes to leadership.

  • Utilize analytics to improve forecasting, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Track project milestones and deliverables, resolving possible issues, altering plans based on the needs of the business, and negotiating new conditions if necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the point of contact for the participants involved in the projects, initiating and leading meetings with teams, communicating the status of the project, and reaching out to additional teams.

  • Work closely with MNS Technical Leads, MNS Ambassadors, product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to align MNS strategies.

  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution.

  • Support the development of customer-facing materials and presentations.

 Process Optimization & Governance

  • Implement best practices for program governance, KPI tracking, and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and methodologies.

  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.



What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.



Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Project Management, Telecommunications, or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, preferably in network services or telecommunications.

  • PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.

  • Understanding of IT Service Management systems especially ServiceNow.

  • Working knowledge of the ITIL framework.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a technology-driven environment.

  • Strong ability to adapt to changing business priorities and drive transformation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of MNS, network infrastructure, and cloud-based solutions

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and strategic planning

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $109,000.00 and $203,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
