General Summary:
The camera software team is looking for a talented software engineer to tune camera ISP (Image & Signal Processing) and Auto-exposure, Auto-whitebalance, Auto-focus algorithms to achieve good image quality. Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for camera image quality tuning on various image sensors, on various Qualcomm ISP platforms. Candidate will evaluate the image quality from time to time to achieve the best image quality possible.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior camera tuning experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and enjoys photography
3+ years of experience in the following areas are required:
• ISP algorithms and designs, auto-whitebalance, auto-exposure, and auto-focus algorithms.
• Image quality evaluation tools (e.g. IMATEST), usage of camera tuning equipment (e.g. lightbooths).
• C, C++.
• Software development for mobile or embedded platforms
• Programming skills in C and C++
• Object Oriented Programming
• Multi-threaded programming experience

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$116,900.00 - $175,300.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
