We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement CJTF HOA/AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Change Manager.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, CJTF-HOA located OCONUS in DJIBOUTI, Africa.  This position is required to travel OCONUS.  

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. 

The Change Manager will be responsible to provides configuration management planning. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation. Responsible for configuration change control. Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Responsible for configuration status accounting. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration. Responsible for configuration audits. Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met.  More specifically, the Change Manager will be Responsible for the creation and management of all configuration projects and planning. Develops guidance and advice on methods, procedures and requirements. Responsible for configuration change control.  Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization and system updates. Authorizes the release of drawings and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Responsible for configuration status accounting. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration. Responsible for configuration audits. Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met. Supports quality assurance process audits and manages staff of configuration specialists for a new software development application. Provides leadership and training for less experienced CM specialists. Leads, directs, and reviews the work of the CM team to ensure the programs operational goals are met.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
  • Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01. IAM II
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
  • Waterfall/AGILE and ITIL expertise as well as experience in leveraging the applicable aspects of each discipline into a client's Release processes
  • In-depth knowledge in managing hardware and software configuration changes, Configuration Control Board (CCB) change requests, Certificates of Networthiness (CoNs), and other change related activities.
  • Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year
  • Provide technical leadership and cross-training to peers in areas of expertise
  • Act as a resource to team members, participates in team and professional meetings
  • BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
  • Ability to document system process and architecture
  • Acts as a liaison between Release and Deployment teams
  • Tracking release speed and successful deployment metrics over time
  • Identifying and offering improvements and enhancements to the release process and implementing the changes
  • Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
