General Summary:

  • Definition and planning of WIN Radio chipset Roadmap, Feature definition, Feasibility Analysis, customer interactions/requirement gathering, Cost Analysis (NRE Estimates, AUC estimates & RBOM estimates) & optimization.
  • Drive PC1 & PC2 for all the WIN Radio programs WLAN chipsets as Engineering Lead across HW, Test & SW.  
  • Definition and planning of reference design platform for WIN Radio chipsets for customer sampling.
  • Drive the competitive analysis with respect to AUC, features &  RBOM and ensure that QCOM Solution is better /on par with competition. 
  • WW Engineering lead driving the execution of the  program including  Architecture, Design, DV, VI , Performance modeling(systems/PHY), Test(ATE/PTE) , SW validation, ES   and productization (CS).
  • Define checklists specific to Wi-Fi integration challenges to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Drive initiatives across design & PD for area reduction.
