Job Description

This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St. Petersburg, FL; Memphis, TN; Southfield, MI.

Job Summary
Raymond James is looking for a new Citrix Analyst/Systems Admin position within the DW-Virtualization team supporting the expansion projects ranging from HSZ expansion to Cloud based VDI leveraging Citrix and Azure, and W365 delivery systems. This position will further remove risk of a single source of knowledge and responsibility and allow for more expedient innovation with Cloud adoption and client virtualization technologies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Education/Previous Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor%26rsquos degree MIS, Computer Sciences, Business or related degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience preferably in systems or application administration or a combination of education, training and experience as approved by Human Resources.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Maintaining and managing Citrix applications

Technical and conceptual mastery of Citrix virtualization solutions ( Virtual Apps, Virtual desktop, PVS, AppSense, NetScaler, FSlogix, VMware (vSphere) and Cloud Gateway.

Maintain multiple XenApp / XenDesktop images through monthly image updates.

Strong troubleshooting capabilities

Knowledge of Windows 365 and AWS

Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and environments

Process automation ability to use advanced scripting language, i.e., PowerShell.

System monitoring Splunk, Datadog and ControlUp preferred

Knowledge of IP network design and principles, Windows OS, Intel-based hardware configurations and components for workstations and servers security best practices MS Active Directory Storage Area Network technologies system monitoring and event analysis virtualization concepts and technologies Group Policy
