Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Application Developer (ServiceNow) to support a classified Intelligence program in Chantilly, VA. The team is seeking a software engineering professional who is familiar with SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow, to assist with the expansion of workflows and backend applications for the agencies CSOC analysis cell. 

Clearance: Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph Clearance

Location: Chantilly, VA

Responsibilities of the Application Developer:

•      Write production backend applications

•      Ship and run services in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS

•      Follow best practices for securing cloud services

•      Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems

•      Identifies and implements best-practice solutions to address client requirements

•      Performs operational support of custom development and 3rd party integrations

•      Performs unit-testing and resolves code defects

•      Assists with technical design and documentation

•      Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions that support business requirements

 Qualifications of the Application Developer: 

• Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph required to be considered
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 7+ years of software engineering experience
• IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required

•       Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript)

•       Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Debian) and its fundamentals

• Experience with microservice architecture and orchestration tools (Kubernetes/ECS)

Compensation of the Application Developer:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $140,000 - $175,000+ **based on experience level**
