The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for and experienced, innovative, and motivated Senior Cloud Services Engineer in Fayetteville, NC to support the mission objectives and needs on the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.
The Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customers with technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.
Responsibilities:
Maintains security requirements for operation of systems.
Maintains and improves existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies, authentication, search, etc.)
Maintenance of system in AWS environment using EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS, and IAM
Manages and maintains AWS WorkSpaces.
Automates and optimizes service deployments.
Actively participates in technical requirements-gathering process in conjunction with assigned project managers.
Executes the design and implementation of application features.
Writes and produces detailed documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, and be SCI eligible.
Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or BA/BS and 12+ years relevant experience.
Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
Angular frontend framework; UI/UX design
Microservice-based backend architecture; integrating with COTS/FOSS software REST APIs
CI/CD pipeline implementation, ideally with GitLab
Desired:
Prior experience supporting USSOCOM
Masters degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
AWS or Microsoft Azure certification(s)
Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI
Experience working with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, or Java)
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Markdown, and portal development
Database experience
Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:
