CACI is seeking a Computer Network Architect (SME) for one of our key DHS programs. The SETS II program provides services to design, procure, configure, implement, test, secure, accredit, operate and maintain an IT infrastructure for the St. Elizabeths campus.

Responsibilities include:
Responsible for engineering and architecture activities to support Enterprise IT Services and Support for WAN, LAN, and Security.
Reviews, improves and modernizes infrastructure to meet new requirements or refresh aging equipment and technologies.
Assesses performance issues, determines root cause, and implements corrective action along with enhancements.
Provides Tier 3/4 engineering support to monitoring of WAN links and network systems.
Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning. May also design network and computer security measures.
May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
May supervise others.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
