Job Title:  Continuous Improvement Technician

Location:  Cleveland, OH

Business Unit:  Team Wendy

Purpose of Position:

We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Technician who will be responsible for enhancing manufacturing and production processes using Lean Manufacturing and other improvement concepts. The Continuous Improvement Technician will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of lean principles, problem-solving techniques, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and/or Functions:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements at all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify root causes of issues and develop solutions using lean principles.
  • Implement process changes and monitor results to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Utilize problem solving tools such as root cause analysis, 5S, and visual management to improve processes.
  • Train and coach employees on continuous improvement methodologies
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.
  • Maintain and update process documentation and standard work instructions.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with established processes and identify areas for improvement.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Basic knowledge of lean principles and problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong work ethic, action oriented, with a track record for delivering to plan.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and prioritize tasks.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $20.00 to $28.00 hourly.  The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
