Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Secret-cleared Contract Specialist to support DARPA’s Contracts Management Office (CMO). This team administers contracts, grants, and other transactions in support of DARPA’s research and development mission to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security. The Secret-cleared Contracts Specialist will work 1 day on-site in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities for the Contract Specialist include:

• Prepare and administer terms and conditions of Department of Defense Research & Development (FAR Part 35) contracts.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and analyzing proposed costs and prices.
• Prepare contract modifications, analyzing procurement policies and procedures.
•  Prepare required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant policies/regulations.

Qualifications for the Contract Specialist include:

• 6+ years of work experience with government contracts.
• Experience using Procurement Desktop-Defense technologies, PD2.
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field
• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance

Compensation for the Contract Specialist II includes:

• Salary: $100,000-140,000 **depending on experience and education level**
