Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contract Specialist to support Department of Defense Research & Development (DARPA) in Arlington, VA. The team is seeking an individual with a dynamic skill set in contract negotiation, modifications, and grants that adhere to FAR/DFAR policies. Your Skills Are Needed! 

Clearance: Secret Clearance 

Location: Arlington, VA (On-site 1x/week)

Responsibilities of the Contract Specialist: 

• Prepare and administer terms and conditions for contracts supporting national security objectives.
• Collaborate in contract negotiations, analyze proposed costs, and evaluate pricing strategies.
• Craft precise and proficient contract modifications.
• Conduct thorough analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain essential contract documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications of the Contract Specialist:

•       8+ years of experience with government contracts

•       Secret security clearance

•       Bachelors degree from accredited university, more experience considered in lieu of a degree

•       Experience implementing DoD FAR/DFARs policies and regulations

•       Experience with government procurement and cost analysis experience. Financial audit and budgetary experience needed.

•       DoD experience desired

Compensation for the Contract Specialist include:

•       Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000+ **based on experience level**

•       Full Benefits: PTO, Sick leave as required by state law, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.

•       Long-term contract supporting DARPA
