Controllers ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. Our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm's business. Controllers also ensure that the firm's activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.

BUSINESS UNIT
The Controllers group is responsible for safeguarding the firm's assets: to help maintain the integrity of Goldman Sachs' finances and expenditures. Through careful consideration and analyses of firm finances, objectives and strategies, we ensure that the firm's businesses continue to be profitable and efficiently run. Controllers also ensure that all business practices are in compliance with financial and regulatory requirements worldwide. Since contact with virtually every part of the firm is essential to Controllers, professionals in the department experience Goldman Sachs businesses, products, and sophisticated technology systems in depth. Direct Hedge Funds, Hedge Funds Strategies, Private Equity Group teams within Controllers support the alternative investments within Goldman Sachs Asset Management division with oversight over complex private funds.
BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
The Compensation Accounting is responsible to manage the payroll and accounting functions for Goldman Sachs. Functional team within the compensation team manages the payroll systems and acts as an intermediary between the Compensation Accounting users and the Compensation Accounting Engineering team.
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Functional Consultant specializing in the US payroll module to join our team. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to deliver effective Payroll solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSBILITIES
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document payroll
Translate business needs into functional specifications and system designs
Conduct gap analysis between current processes and Oracle Fusion HCM capabilities
Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios for payroll functionalities
Perform integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during testing phases
Provide training and support to end-users on the payroll module
Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation
Offer post-go-live support and resolve any issues that arise during the stabilization period
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
Monitor system performance and optimize payroll processes for efficiency
Creating OTBI Reports
Good presentation and communication skills
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in computers (BE/B.Tech) or BCA/MCA.
1-4 years of experience as an Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Functional Consultant, with a focus on the payroll module.
Prior work experience of PeopleSoft (added advantage)
Sound knowledge of US legislative and regulatory rules for payroll
Experience in end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll calculations, deductions and taxes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Payroll functionalities
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Proficient in gathering and analyzing business requirements
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
