The Opportunity:
Make a difference; join our team. We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command’s Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM’s primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense (DoD) and advance USCENTCOM J2’s priorities in the Middle East.
Responsibilities:
As a Counterterrorism / Insurgency Analyst, you will independently produce timely, relevant all-source analysis on terrorism and terrorist activity affecting defense issues in the CENTCOM AOR in line with DNI/DIA analytic tradecraft standards.
Prioritize and review intelligence message traffic from multiple sources and message handling systems.
Coordinate with Interagency, allied partner friendly countries, IC, Cross Directorate, Components, CJTFs, HRFC, JPRA, DIA POW MIA to produce coordinated products.
Provide full spectrum CT analytic support in AOR/AOI countries as required to support CT operations IAW Host Unit SOP.
Perform and use basic geospatial and analysis tools to support targeting products, briefing slides, assessments, and support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze (F3EA) process.
Perform call-chaining analysis of VEO networks and communications to assist with HVI targeting products and pattern(s) of life, as required.
Perform named area of interest studies to identify VEOs operating areas, safe havens, pattern of life, and bed down locations to assist with HVI targeting products and pattern of life assessments.
Develop and refine collection requirements.
Research, identify, and analyze VEO capabilities to produce VEO personnel recovery, and terrorism threat assessments per the deliverables list.
Draft and maintain a list of intelligence questions regarding terrorism issues to guide production, support analytic lines, and identify intelligence gaps IAW USCENTCOM J2 priorities and the TCP.
Qualifications:
Required:
TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly required.
Specialized training and bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degree
All-Source Analysis experience
An in-depth understanding of the intelligence cycle.
Experience with ODNI’s analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, and 208.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.
Experience using the following tools: NGT, TAC, RMT, CRATE and CHROME.

Knowledge of USCENTCOM and DIA product lines
Deployment experience in the USCENTC

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,900 - $148,900',
