The Opportunity:

CACI’s Transport and Cybersecurity Service (TCS) program enables national security missions through the creation, delivery, and support of innovative, technology-centric solutions that provide insight and decision advantage.

The Team Lead for Cyber Data Analysis (CDA) will report directly to the Branch Chief of Cyber Technology Security. The candidate will take previous in-depth cybersecurity and leadership experience to ensure all appropriate enterprise log data is ingested into the Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM) and coordinate related supporting activities that align with strategic direction as provided by the Chief of TCS Cybersecurity Engineering.

The CDA Team Lead will take ownership of the day-to-day operations to ensure the environment is mission ready, all required SLAs are met, and coordinate all tasking which include, system onboarding, establishing healthy data feeds, maintaining performance expectations, component upgrades, re-provisioning assets, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will lead cybersecurity engineers who build, enhance, and maintain complex software systems for the US Intelligence Community. The selected candidate will perform a variety of engineering and supervisory tasks that may include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Provide oversight of team work assignments through ServiceNow ticketing system.

  • Serve as a technical lead and point of escalation on architecture, system function, and other tasking for a team of 15-20 engineers

  • Ensure staff development and training

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other engineering discipline leads.

  • Identify and oversee the discovery and implementation of process improvements.

  • Interface directly with customers and brief at program reviews as the CDA representative

  • Monitor progress across programs and collaborate with program managers to track schedules and ensure successful completion

  • Contribute to new business development and proposals as a subject matter expert, conceptualizing technical solutions and providing detailed estimates of resources and schedule

  • Provide active leadership and encourage team collaboration, foster operational improvement, and provide constructive feedback. Create a great team and lead from the front.

  • Will schedule team members to cover the 5-days a week, 16hrs a day, with 2hr recall for multiple technologies, emergencies authorized outages, and break fix incidents.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with experience working on US Government contracts.

  • DOD 8570 IAT III and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications.

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • 7+ years of related experience in SEIM, network operations, network engineering, leading technology teams, leading operation cybersecurity teams, or a combination of

  • Experience leading cyber teams, mentoring junior engineers, and developing future managers.

  • Proven delivery of production-grade software solutions that include security, diagnostics, maintainability, scalability, auditing, and complex multi-layer troubleshooting.

  • Experience tracking schedules, resource allocations, and reporting status to customers and upper management.

  • Excellent time-management, writing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Desired:

  • CSSP Manager certification

  • Understanding of Department of Defense standards Experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
