The Opportunity

CACI is looking for a Training Specialist to join the Cyber Tradecraft Services Team on its Transport and Cybersecurity Services Contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Tradecraft Services is responsible for NGA’s Cybersecurity Operations Cell (CSOC) training program, as well as the development and maintenance of official documentation and its knowledge management system.

The ideal candidate is eager to work as part of a small team responsible for developing and executing training solutions and managing official documentation for CSOC personnel at one of the “Big 5” U.S. Intelligence agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors for outside training; and facilitate virtual, live, or hybrid events.
  • Recommend, design, develop, and review in-house training solutions. Work with NGA College as needed to produce training content.

Skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality training solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of performance-based training and various instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, etc.).
  • Skilled in using both Microsoft Office tools as well as software designed for creating eLearning content.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance (or the ability to obtain one), and willingness to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
  • Formal training in Instructional Design, such as:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related discipline.
  • Other professional training or certificates.
  • Currently enrolled in, or pursuing training in related field.
  • At least three-five years of experience developing training and creating learning content (live and computer-based), facilitating online learning (live, virtual, hybrid), and working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas).
  • Experience with Learning Needs Assessment or Gap Analysis.
  • Demonstrated writing proficiency, with experience creating training guides, manuals, and/or job aids.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in an IT or cybersecurity environment, or familiarity with these fields. Cybersecurity certificates helpful, but not required for this position.
  • Curriculum design experience.
  • Experience editing video and/or audio.
  • Experience with NIST 800 SP and/or DoDD 8140.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
