Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor for a long term role supporting international cybersecurity initiatives for a US Federal agency. This position requires an active Secret clearance, and ability to be on site in DC 3 days/week.

Responsibilities:

•       Develop and manage engagement and business strategy for cybersecurity critical infrastructure and threat intelligence

•       Support mission specific cyber efforts for various reginal levels in Europe/Eurasia

•       Liaise with European leadership to review/analyze/recommend updates to cybersecurity assessments

•       Interpret and develop cybersecurity policy according to RMF, NIST, FISMA, and international standards such as GDPR, ISO, etc.

•       Support full ATO assessments, analyze selected controls, make recommendations and perform gap analysis

•       Support both government and civilian areas, particularly energy and infrastructure sectors

•       Perform new market analysis and business development for new innovation, leading strategic partnerships across various hubs

Requirements:

•       Active SECRET Clearance

•       Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field

•       Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, etc.)

•       Expert knowledge of cybersecurity standards including RMF, NIST, FISMA, FIPS, ISO, GDPR, etc.

•       Ability to present and translate technical information to non-technical leadership

•       Blend of experience in both government and commercial cybersecurity environments

•       Expert knowledge of current IT tools and platforms, networks, mobility, cloud solutions, etc.

•       Must be on site 3 days a week in Washington, DC

Compensation:

•       $140,000-170,000 annual salary *depending on experience
