As a Senior Data Center Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI Cleared Senior Data Center Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Wright Patterson, OH.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develops computer systems specifications that fi t with the government's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and soft ware systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
• Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
• Responsible for installation and maintenance of storage, networking, and server hardware.
• Ensures availability of development systems to end users through continuous system monitoring and issue remediation.
• Applies required security updates and implementations mandated by DoD cyber security regulations.
• Oversee the eff orts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the eff orts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 8+ years of related experience
• Requires RHEL – Linux administration experience – 3 year or more experience
• Must have Security+ certi fi cati on or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire
• TS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain a Polygraph.
• RHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administration
• Experience working with trouble reporting and tracking systems such as Security+
• Ability to respond to aft er hour calls “provide on-call support'
• Ability to travel 0-20% to local area sites as well as other locations with similar architecture/footprint.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Preference to administrators experienced in Netapp storage management
• Preference to administrators experienced with Cisco switch and networking management
• Preference to administrators experienced with ESXI VM management
• Preference to administrators experienced with Windows server management

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,000 - $178,600
