Job Description:

What You’ll Get to Do

CACI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the National Security Mission. The candidate will have extensive knowledge of server management best practices, including implementing automation. We are seeking candidates with substantial experience in application management, deployment, and maintenance best practices.  

More About the Role

  • Design, develop, build, and deploy custom cloud-based web applications on both Windows and Linux OS. 
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments.
  • Implement monitoring tools to track system performance and troubleshoot issue.
  • Utilize various Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings in support of server management and application development.
  • Provide production support and system monitoring.
  • Continuously innovate to automate processes, implement best practices, and improve overall system architecture.
  • Actively engage with the team for sprint planning, testing coordination, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to maintain/obtain a CI Polygraph
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Experience with server management within cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in build automation tools, including Gradle
  • Experience working with Apache web servers
  • Proven experience in planning and executing server and database upgrades, with minimal downtime

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience managing Windows and Linux servers
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
