Full Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a growing team with a highly credible prime contractor, in support of a government agency. This position will be HYBRID, w/ 3 days on site, 2 days at home and require a top-secret clearance due to the scope of the work.

Responsibilities/Overview:

• Solid technical foundation with a strong grasp of core IT principles.
• Demonstrable experience and skills in Cloud DevOps, including platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Practical experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, or GKE.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of enterprise-level backup and restoration strategies and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience with 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Security+ Certification or other IAT Level II certification.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance

Compensation and Benefits:

• $100,000-$125,000+
