Position Title: Digital Forensic Examiner 

Location: Linthicum Heights, MD

Education/Experience Requirements:

• AS with 10+ years of relevant experience
• BS with 8+ years of relevant experience
• MS with 6+ years of relevant experience
• PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience

Clearance: Secret



Key Responsibilities:

• Handles digital media investigations and operations by examining various electronic devices, including hard drives, storage media, mobile phones, PDAs, and others, to uncover evidence admissible in court.
• Conducts forensic analysis of digital data while collecting and securing evidence.
• Delivers comprehensive forensic and electronic discovery services, such as preserving digital evidence, performing forensic analyses, recovering data and tapes, extracting emails, and examining databases.
• Applies sound forensic methods to identify evidence of network computer intrusions and trace perpetrators.
• Utilizes advanced forensic tools and techniques to investigate electronic crimes, recover passwords, identify steganography, and restore deleted, fragmented, or corrupted data across all types of digital media.
• Ensures proper evidence custody and control, maintains meticulous documentation of procedures and findings for courtroom use, and prepares detailed written reports.
• May also testify as an expert witness in federal or military court.
