Working with the Marketing Automation team, NExT is the Verizon strategic program reimagining our ways of working with marketing automation and AI-powered operations. This program allows our internal working teams to automate our manual processes, integrate with key platforms to increase efficiency, and to personalize our day-to-day to more quickly track, manage, and deploy projects at scale. Powered by Adobe Workfront, NExT is able to make measurable and actionable impacts through its integrative and dynamic streamlining capabilities.
As a Solution Delivery lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of an ongoing workstream. As the Solution Delivery Lead, you will be the driving force behind the program’s success, ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders, effective use of technology, and continuous improvement of processes.
Your primary responsibilities will include acting as the face of your appointed workstream, ensuring all aspects of the program are running smoothly, and hitting weekly deliverables. You will work closely with key stakeholders to align on training, communications, delivery, and scope of work, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged. Leading team status meetings, taking comprehensive notes during status calls, and providing regular status updates are essential aspects of this role. You will gather requirements, work cross-functionally with our tech delivery team to ensure tasks are completed effectively, and maintain a “big picture” perspective to align the program’s objectives with the organization’s goals. Additionally, you will deliver status updates weekly and for sprint reviews and quarterly business reviews, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Proficiency in Adobe Workfront is necessary, as you will be expected to use this system daily to review backlog items with internal teams and key stakeholders, ensuring that projects are on track and addressing any potential issues promptly. Your ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities include:
Acting as the primary representative for the appointed workstream, embodying its vision and objectives, and identifying areas for improvement within the program.
Ensuring the program is running efficiently, meeting its deliverables, and adhering to the planned timeline.
Engaging with key stakeholders to align on training, communications, delivery, and scope of work.
Serving as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team, ensuring clarity and cohesion. In addition to gathering and synthesizing feedback from leaders and stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
Leading team status meetings to track progress, identify issues, and develop solutions.
Communicating weekly status updates, sprint reviews, and quarterly business reviews to Product Owner to provide transparency on progress and roadblocks.
Taking detailed notes during status calls and distribute them to relevant parties.
Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with the tech delivery team to ensure project requirements are met.
Utilizing Adobe Workfront daily to manage tasks, review backlog items, and ensure projects stay on track.
Delivering comprehensive status updates to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in a dynamic project environment.
Experience collaborating effectively across geographically distributed teams.
Experience in launching new projects, guiding teams through the project management lifecycle.
Even better if you have:
Advanced certifications or training in Adobe Workfront.
Ability to work independently and with a cohesive team of multiple partners.
Previous experience overseeing project management and platform experts.
Proficiency in programs such as MS Office, GSuite, Slack, Jira, etc.
Exposure to organizational change management and transformation initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of emerging trends in project management and technology integration.
Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
Knowledge of digital technologies, products and services, and the overall digital ecosystem.
Self-starter who provides thoughtful recommendations and solutions.
The ability to handle multiple tasks/initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $89,000.00 and $166,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
