General Summary:
Product and Test Development Engineering (PDTE) is looking for an experienced Digital Processors and Sensors characterization lead Engineer who provide clear technical directions to team of engineers in developing test and characterization solutions in support of New Product Introduction (Silicon Validation and Characterization) and Manufacturing Enablement of Qualcomm Silicon on Chip (SOC) products. The position offers growth/specialization opportunities within Digital Test Engineering. The individuals selected for this position will need to be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality work, driving efficiency improvement initiatives and lessons learnt. The lead will also handle technical issue escalations and communication with management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master of Electrical Engineering Preferred.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of industry experience as a Product and Test Development engineer with working knowledge of Processors and Sensors performance characterization.
Minimum 5 years of experience providing technical leadership to a team of test engineers is preferred.
Understanding of VLSI technologies, familiarity with Digital Baseband products
Proficiency in programming language C/C++/VB/Java/Python is a plus.
Experience with data analytic tools such as O+, Data Power, Exensio and Machine Learning basics will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with Digital Communication concepts. Knowledge of Semiconductor Physics.
Ability to work with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) like Advantest 93K or Teradyne UltraFlex is preferred.
