What you’ll be doing…
As a Director in Corporate System Group based out of Hyderabad and as part of senior leadership in Verizon India,
Collaborate with Business and Technology partners to drive results for Enterprise(Corporate Business Functions)
Focus on people excellence: Drive high performance team aligned with the Organizational purpose, nurture talent, build workforce with future ready skills, develop roles and capabilities to fulfill strategic workforce planning
Delivering on supply chain and inventory optimization working closely with business and technology partners
Operational excellence: Reduce cost of operations and deliver more value through process optimization, automation and engineering innovation. Drive effective change management towards achieving efficiency . Drive maturity in operations.
Technical excellence: Lead platform modernization and emerging tech adoption to drive higher value for business and customers
Culture of collaboration and innovation: Instill behaviors and influence positive actions to leverage the network(teams) and continuous improvement.
Change champion: Instill trust and confidence during change and align actions to the purpose of change
Manage software delivery with both onshore and offshore resource teams and with IT vendors. Improve global team productivity.
Drive best practices across the teams and champion employee engagement
Presenting problem statements/data/conclusions/recommendations in a consumable, meaningful, and insightful manner.
Analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal sources to provide strategic and actionable business insights to decision-makers. Develop and deliver data-driven solutions to support business needs and analytics.
Reviewing project deliverables such as designs and requirements for completeness, quality, and compliance with the revenue recognition standard.
Handling administrative and resource management of a portfolio comprising multiple projects and large teams. Accountable for sound financial decisions required to manage significant capital and expense budgets.
Building and sustaining capability hubs that accelerate value realization for the business
Inspire open and learning mindset within the team, overcome orthodoxy and lead with example, setting strong expectations on core values of respect, integrity, accountability, performance excellence and social responsibility
Where you’ll be working…
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What you should have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead large and complex technology operations - end to end systems design and implementation. More than 8 Years in management role, and 3+ years in Senior Management role.
Experience in building enterprise grade solutions on SAP platforms
Experience in working with Vendors as managed services.
Experience in solution development, large scale integration with technology services and platforms.
Knowledge of emerging technology including RPA and Blockchain.
Knowledge in Data analytics and BI
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Strong problem solving skills and lead with strategic thinking
Uphold customer centric culture, lead with purpose and empathy and inspire positive behaviors and actions, challenge status quo and orthodoxy
Strong consulting and presentation skills
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master's degree. Management degree would be an advantage.
Experience in Fintech.
Knowledge of Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service preferably in retail & telecom.
Experience in leading large geographically distributed teams.
Experience in Process optimization and automation projects.
Experience in Agile development.
