General Summary:
The RF Product and Test Engineering Team at Qualcomm , Bangalore has an opening for an Engineering Director. This team develops Characterization solutions for Design validation of highly integrated RF Transceivers designed by Qualcomm. The Team also drives Characterization of the RF Transceiver products and works closely with Design, System, Program Management, Yield, Reliability and Manufacturing teams in enabling Product commercialization.
Job responsibilities for this position include New Test methodology implementation, HW/SW integration, RF performance optimization , Characterization flow Automation, Data analysis, Process experiment (DOE) definition, Product documentation/presentation, Driving failure analysis to completion and yield variance control. The job scope also requires the candidate to drive Test time reduction and Yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality. This position is both Technical and Managerial with equal importance to both
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.Skills/Experience:
