At the heart of the Snapdragon Studios & Gaming Team, we are passionate about next generation gaming technologies and delivering exceptional gaming experiences across all platforms. Our highly creative teams are full of veteran AAA game developers, game artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiasts who work on our latest GPUs and Gaming hardware innovations around Mobile and PC.

This is an exciting multi-functional gaming role with many unique opportunities to help lead our game studio relationships and engagement with the top game studios and publishers in China. This person would be tightly integrated into our game studios with a strong focus on local China gaming partnerships and product marketing.  You will work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and legal teams to deliver results. This position would also help drive publishers’ technical engagements to help us increase our scope and reach into more AAA game studios including outreach and defining partnership structures, driving feature evangelism and adoption .  The candidate will need to have a strong background of understanding of the gaming industry, gaming ecosystems, and game business models, as well as having good technical knowledge in gaming, graphics, etc.  

Responsibilities 

• Own top game studio partnerships relationship management with the leading game AAA developers in China.  
• Top responsibility will be to drive new Elite Gaming features into game studio base for current and new games on Snapdragon Platforms. Creating next generation gaming experiences with top Game Studios.
• Work with product management, sales, and marketing teams, along with regional partners, to advocate and drive new Snapdragon technologies adoption into top AAA games.
• Responsible for managing all key gaming requirements from developers, including HW/SW features, Tools, Development Kit etc. 
• Identify and anticipate gaming market trends, lead competitive analysis, and contribute to product planning activities for Elite Gaming from Game Studio inputs.
• Identify, negotiate, and close strategic game partnership deals  
• Be able to learn and adapt a wide range of products and technologies related to GPU, Game AI
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior game team leadership  

• Drive all collaboration of deep technical engagements with Game Studios with Game Engineering in China and with global team
• Tracking all new games in production per top game studios, 6 months to 2-year lead times for next generation technical requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

• 10+ years of experience in gaming product, gaming development, gaming planning, technical partner marketing, technical business development, developer relations experience in the Mobile or PC industry.
• Experience with China game publishers and industry developer relations 
• Good technical knowledge of gaming, graphics and mobile SOC is required in China region
• Experience leading negotiation, identifying partners, and structuring agreements and building strong relationships.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 
• Must speak good conversational English/Fluent in Chinese Language. (you will be interviewed by English speakers)

Preferred Qualifications 

• Currently in Engineering/Tech Product/Business role in the gaming/Graphics industry with a focus on Mobile or PC 
• Experience in SOC design, gaming/graphics tech development
• Technical knowledge of AI is a plus.
• Experience with core game development and game engines 
• Comfortable working with large, complex projects and deliverables 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong social team fit, self-motivated 
• MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science related field 
• Fluent Bilingual a plus (Mandarin/English)
