Amount of Travel Required: 20-25%
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M

POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive supply chain strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs across logistics, warehouse management, and inventory control. This position oversees all logistics operations, ensuring the timely delivery of goods through effective transportation, distribution, and shipment coordination.
Key responsibilities include directing warehouse operations to optimize space utilization, design effective layouts, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. The role involves implementing advanced inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels, streamline replenishment processes, and minimize excess inventory.
The director will also assess facilities security, implementing robust security protocols, monitoring systems, and emergency response plans to create a secure operating environment. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and cross-functional teams is crucial to enhancing collaboration and resolving operational issues.
In addition, the Director of Supply Chain Operations will identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reduction initiatives, lead and mentor the operations team, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Setting, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential to evaluate the effectiveness of logistics, inventory management, and security operations, thereby driving performance improvements across the supply chain.

The Director of Supply Chain Operations is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
