The position of Director of the Department of Defense will act as the primary leader supporting all DoD contracts, programs, and customers.  This position also serves as the key named Program Manager supporting a complex high-speed network contract.  The Director will oversee several Associate Directors and their teams supporting the individual MILDEPs through fostering an environment of inclusion and positivity.  This position will conduct performance reviews of their team to assess progress towards objectives and provide positive coaching and mentoring to grow your team’s talent.  The Director will develop business strategies for achieving company or program goals and objectives and will assist their teams with execution.  The Director must foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, prepare forecasts and schedules for new awards, monitor and reduce expenses where possible, evaluate processes and procedures to solve for issues and bottlenecks and validate adherence to Governance and Security standards.  Lead from the front and lead by example.

You’ll need to have:

  • An active Top Secret Clearance

  • 15 years of professional experience 

  • 10 years of Telecom and/or IT Implementation Experience

  • 5 years of relevant management/supervisory experience

  • 5 years of relevant experience with Data Center and High-Speed Networking

  • Significant experience following Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies

A working knowledge of:

  • Service Desk Support

  • Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Change Management

  • Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)

  • Configuration Management (CM)

  • Information Management

  • Asset & Mobility Device Management

  • Platform As A Service (PAAS)

  • Data Management and Reporting

  • Physical and Virtual Server Management

  • Continuity of Operations Programs (COOP)

  • SharePoint Server Monitoring

  • Active Directory monitoring

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3), CompTIA A+ or Security+ certification

  • Military service
